Accelerator Technologies BV, TUE, Eindhoven

Accelerator Technologies BV, or AccTec, is a 100% daughter of the holding of the University of Technology (TUE) in Eindhoven. AccTec is located on the TUE campus. AccTec possesses an advanced 30 MV cyclotron and a 3.5 MV singletron.

The cycotron generates proton beams for the production of radionuclides, with which third parties produce radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic radiology in hospitals. Furthermore, there is a facility available for university research using radiotracers.

The singletron is used for materials research employing nuclear analytical techniques for both academic groups as well as the industry. Also proton irradiations are performed to test radiation hardness of solar cells for application in space.
