Preface

More than half of the quantity of radioisotopes for nuclear farmaceuticals used in the hospitals throughout Europa is produced in the High Flux Reactor at Petten, the Netherlands.

We are committed to add other significant contributions to the health of the people of Europe and elsewhere.

The HFR and nuclear farmaca, 'made in Petten'.

Throughout the years the programs in Petten on energy and materials research have seen a shift of focus. The medical research however has seen a constant strengthening and expansion.

We hope and expect that our joint effort in Medical Valley will increase the significance for society of the research and development in Petten.
